Any time Jordan Brand releases a model with ‘Flight’ in the title (or stitched on the tongue), you can expect a look that hearkens back to the period between 1988 and ’90 when Air Jordans III-V were loosely connected to Nike Basketball’s explosive Flight lineup.  So as a sequel to last year’s SC-1, the Jordan SC-2 owes its heritage not only to MJ’s pre-championship years, but also a gradual progression of familiar design reappropriation that also included the Flight 9.  The SC-2 will take over the niche carved by those models, this first gold-on-black non perhaps most reminiscent of the AJ6 in DMP form.  Click through to see more angles and grab a pair today from FinishLine.
