This started with a pair of Nike Air Max 95s animated short featuring Nike designers Shane Kohatsu and Ben Shaffer, pondering the wonders of the Nike Hyperfuse material. Shane introduced Nike Hyperfuse to the sport of basketball, and it was later adopted by Shaffer for Nike Sportswear, Fuse-ing out classics like the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Shoes Air Force 1.
