Nike just unveiled its 2012 line-up of stained Nike Tennis footwear, but a special highlight goes to the stained Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9 – Roger Federer’s signature shoe designed by none other Tinker Hatfield. In the earlier preview of the Vapor Tour 9, we saw Tinker work his signature magic by designing the shoe on an iPad (a hand-held tablet that most use to read comics or destroy levels on Angry Birds). Using the innovative ‘finger’ fit quantity, the Zoom Vapor Tour 9 offers tennis performance with running shoe feel, a certain unfair advantage to Federer, who is one of the best in the game. This Fall, two more colorways of the Vapor Tour 9 will release – an Olympic-esque colorway of Obsidian and Red and another White/University Blue.
