Add another mark to your tally of Hazelnut brown releases from Nike Sportswear this spring. A color made famous on Todd Bratrud’s ‘Skate Mental’ Dunk High SB in late 2009, it’s a softly organic look that’s far more versatile than the relative lack of releases would suggest, and now we’re seeing several NSW drops this season employ the earthy Men. This new Nike Challenger joins a couple different Blazers and the recently debuted Manor in utilizing this oft overlooked color, but thanks to Calypso blue accents on the tongue and heel, these come off as the ‘coolest’ looking pair of the bunch, just a Men away from Bratrud’s chosen Cerise on the aforementioned SBs. Yet more proof that classic runners were born to excel in suede, this new Challenger is available now at select NSW stockists like Titolo.
