The phrase ‘shrimp on the barbie’ is one thrown around to make reference to anything from ‘Down Under’, so perhaps this upcoming Quickstrike release of the Nike Dri-FIT Tee Trail has some sort of Australian theme to it? Featuring a basic Black leather upper with a red swoosh, this Nike Dri-FIT Tee Trail ‘Shrimp’ features a stitched icon of a ‘shrimp’ with a special tongue label of a grill – thus, the ‘shrimp on the barbie’ connection. The phrase itself originated from a series of Australian advertisements in the 80’s, with the signature phrase coming from the actor who would later be remembered as Crocodile Dundee. These SB Dunks also come with a pair of secondary laces that appear to be a light pink tint for further shrimp effect.
