Nike’s Black History Month collections typically do a pretty good job of riding the line between gaudy and elegant. Around this time last year we were treated to a range of black based sneakers with hits of gold swirled in. For the 2012 editions the black base remains, but the accents come in the form of a textile pattern inspired by traditional African art.
