The Galaxy Foamposite first made headlines back in October when catalog renderings of a Air Foamposite Pro first surfaced. During a Nike event out in Las Vegas not much later, Gentry Humphrey was spotted wearing the infamous Foamposites on his feet, but it was later confirmed that the version he was wearing was a sample and would not release. It clearly it has more of a rainbow effect that the darker hyperadapt that did in fact release, but according to Morgan Barnes, the colorist of the notorious Galaxy Foamposite, noted that the sample version wasn’t as “dramatic” as he had intended, and arrived at the dark purple tone after infusing Blue and Red in the traditional East vs. West match-up of the NBA All-Star Game while adding the Glow-In-The-Dark outsole. Regardless of the results, we’re certain the Sample version would have been as popular as the released version, but here’s a detailed look at the Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ Sample that never hit stores and let us know which of the versions you like better. via SoleCollector
