One hit wonders The Cardigans struck gold with the mid/late-’90s single ‘Lovefool’, and while many of that era’s musical memes have proven obsolete, the desire to have someone ‘Love Me’ remains one of the core human drives. This fact isn’t lost on New York-based artist Curtis Kulig, whose iconic tagline has shown up as a key component of this new collaboration with upcoming Vans. The Curtis Kulig x Vans Sk8-Hi offers a black, red and white ltd totally different from the checkerboard Slip-Ons or text-patterned Authentics in those same colors, and while they’re scheduled to arrive in the first half of next year, one can’t help but feel like these would make a heartwarming Valentine’s Day drop.
