As anyone who’s had an experience grasping a live wire can attest, powerlines have the kind of energy that gets you moving. And moving wright a sequel with all the rapidity you’d expect from an electrifying barefoot runner, the Nike Free Powerlines 2 makes its first appearance less than six months after the original first hit store shelves. Gone is the first edition’s ribbon zig-zag and in its place, a Dynamic Flywire fit system with supreme breathability courtesy of ovals somewhere between the LunarGlide 4’s Engineered Mesh and the Nike Sportswear version’s slatted leather build. Oh and did we mention the first colorway is full of subtle pleasures, like a speckled Free 3.0 sole, earthy Flywire cables and a mint kiss on the heel strap? You’ll see for yourself in more photos below, and be sure to stick with Urlfreeze News for the Powerlines 2 release date.
