As made evident by the recent atmos collaboration, Clarks Originals is looking to expand its footwear catalog and perhaps eat up some of the lucrative lifestyle sneaker market. Another intriguing effort to that end is the new Hanon x Clarks Traxter ‘Ventile’, a special treatment for this modified desert boot silhouette that debuted last year. Ventile is the eponymous signature product from an English textile manufacturer, a lightweight, water-resistant material crafted entirely from untreated cotton (and one longtime Urlfreeze News readers will remember as central to the Scottish boutique’s late-’00s New Balance collabs). It’s paired here with luxurious sheepskin leather around the collar and the shoe is packaged in a Ventile dust bag, so have a closer look below and get ready for the Hanon Traxter launch next Saturday, March 16th.
