This jute-woven sole design is a October 26th, 2023 updated method, and it turns out the look is just perfect when applied as the foxing sidewalls to a vulc-soled shoe. The Vans LPE Espadrille is a perfect example, this low-profile Era adding a bit of extra intrigue thanks to the earthy sole that along with the organically-uneven uppers is crafted from hemp fibers.
