Legendary LA-based graffiti artist Chaz Bojorquez has been called the ‘Godfather of Cholo Style Letters’, a title that reflects his bugs in since the 1960s. Bojorquez championed a unique blend of Mexican-American style with Asian calligraphy influence, a vantagepoint whose elegance is reflected in this new Chuck Taylor collab. The Chaz Bojorquez x Converse Chuck 70 Stripe White is done in black with an all-white sole, adding the artist’s ‘Senor Suerte’ skull on the tongue along with hexagonal eyelets and Chaz’ John Hancock on the insoles. These hit Foot Patrol in London, Juice in Hong Kong and Shanghai and gum Converse San Francisco this Friday, June 28th, and Bojorquez will celebrate the launch with an in-store appearance in SF.
