Puma gives us plenty of Suedes and Clydes and they’ve cranked up their Future series but pictured above is a model that deserves some more shine. Hopefully this new Puma California is a sign of more to come, this thick-soled early 80s lowtop something like the German Cat’s answer to the venerable Air Force 1. And like the AF1 that also debuted in 1982, this new California EXT has a timeless appeal, thanks to a palette that combines grey shades with white for one extremely wearable combination of nubuck, mesh and suede.
