adidas pulled out all of the stops for their patented ZX technology celebrating its 25th anniversary. But even with the resurgence of a bevy of late-80s runners, the true success story this summer has been that of the newly introduced first seen wearing the Yeezy Runner model following an intruder scare in January. The lightweight and breathable mesh upper has hit a sweet spot in terms of comfort and availability, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the three stripes have reworked the upper for a slip-on incarnation. Headed to retailers in 2015, the shoe features an aesthetic not too far off from something you’d see out of the Y-3 catalogue thanks to flexible elastic-like overlays. What do you think?
