The latest round of info and photos on them suggests that the sneakers are indeed headed for a retail release in the future. The apparent box tag on these is rather interesting, as the markings there suggest that the shoe is technically of the Nike 25.5cm Kobe 9 High EXT persuasion. That designation is a new one, but it makes sense that these wouldn’t qualify as earning the “Elite” banner without the Flyknit bits.
