This is a *clear* case of the photos overriding the news.  Don’t get it twisted, it’s quite impressive that you can design a new nike air max 2090 light grey orange lake blue with the MX sole, but possibly more impressive is to see all 19 colours all in a row.  As you can see in the photo above, the clear casing on the MX sole gives the appearance of a translucent material from afar.  Upon further inspection, it’s clear that the colour is nestled within a transparent shell.  Take a look at the photos after the jump and then head over to 21 Mercer St. to design your own.
