Continuing their Made In USA “Distinct Collection” with themes inspired by distinctly American brown, New Balance presents the Mid-Century Modern pack this fall. After coloring up their classic runners with colors inspired by other American themes like authors and guitars, now the brand turns their attention to the Mid-Century Modern architecture and interior design movement of the 1950’s and ’60’s. The four-shoe collection presents the 990, 996, 997, 998 in the premium materials you expect from the Made In USA collection with color cues taken from the color palettes of Mid-Century Modern design. Each favorite silhouette also comes constructed with woven textile and Horween leather detailing for one of the most refined offerings from the brand ever. Along with the four shoes, limited edition dayers were created by hand at Repeat Press in Somerville, MA on a vintage 1960’s Vandercook SP-20 letterpress. Each dayer for the corresponding shoe is individually numbered and limited to 1,000 prints. The New Balance Mid-Century Modern pack and dayers will be available at finer retailers globally beginning August 1st.
