Fans of Nike’s late-90s retro running slate will remember the Nike Air Max 1 Treeline Clothing from 1997 and have reason to get excited, as the running model is getting its second retro treatment ever this summer. The full-length Zoom cushioning on the midsole, mesh overlay, and oversized Swoosh branding made this pair a must-have and it’s a bit odd that we haven’t seen a retro release sooner. The classic Black/Sport Red colorway is first up on the retro slate. No word yet on a stateside release date, but European retailers will be getting this 1997 classic on July 16th.
