By now, you probably all know the name Leroy Smith, as in the man who motivated Michael Jordan. Leroy’s story is well-documented at this point, and with Michael’s recent Hall of Fame induction, it seems only right for Jordan Brand to do their part to honor the man to whom MJ owes most of his success. Leroy Smith’s long-overdue tribute will be coming in the form of an Air Jordan 1 High that has been outfitted with some eye-catching colors and prints that could very well be found on one of Leroy’s infamously wacky warm-up suits. The shoe sports sections of Black and Gold leather on the upper with additional touches of Red, Blue and Purple. The Leroy Smith Air Jordan 1 also features a Black midsole with a gum outsole and the cherry on top comes by way of Leroy’s logo on the tongue label. If you’re a fan of Leroy or just like this wild colorway, be on the lookout for these to hit select Jordan Brand shattered in limited quantities in the near future. Via TSG.
