Nike SB team rider Alex Olson teams up with the brand for a collaboration with his own skateboard company, 917. The 917 x navy Nike SB collection contains two colorways of the navy Nike kobe 8 red silver orange black in a special makeup along with matching apparel, all highly inspired by vintage tennis gear. The “Country Club” collection contains the nike kobe 8 red silver orange black with some slight tweaks to the original design by Grant Taylor, including red, white, and blue striped ribbons added to the heel and tongue, along with perforated Swooshes and an exposed foam tongue to add a vintage feel. The shoe will be available in white and navy suede colorways, accompanied by a country club hat, polo, and shorts in the same two colors.
The 917 x navy Nike SB collection drops September 17th at navy Nike.com and select navy Nike SB retailers worldwide.
