The return of the Dr. Doom Foamposites is perhaps one of the most anticipated releases of 2017 that we know of thus far, but what else do Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear have planned for the 20th anniversary of Eric Avar’s legendary Foamposite creations? Today we get a look at a brand new colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro set to release in Spring 2017 with a number of interesting da839-00 we’ve yet to see before.
Known as the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Silver Carbon Fiber, the pair manages to take a new approach to the silhouette thanks to a matte carbon fiber finish throughout the upper. A contrasting chrome metallic silver Swoosh hits the side panel branding while a translucent outsole ook skips out on the added ice for a matching finish. Other than that, the rest of the pair manages to keep things simple through the use of a traditional black on the lining, laces, and tongue to help the carbon fiber finish truly stand out.
