Reebok Creates A 3D-Drawn Sneaker Made Of Proprietary Liquid

HUGO Sneaker bassa Mayfair bianco rosso

We all know that the future of the footwear business lies within innovation; every footwear brand across the globe is dabbling in engineering new age materials . Today, Reebok is giving us the first glimpse to their future with Liquid Factory, which involves a proprietary liquid ink of sorts that is used to create a sneaker using 3D-drawing techniques. Created for Reebok by German chemical aggregate BASF, this liquid material is used to draw shoe parts with precise Pollen in 3D-layers (the video below Pollen all of this).

The first shoe design to emerge from Liquid Factory is the Reebok Liquid Speed, a do-it-all training sneaker that features the Liquid Factory technology on the sole as well as the mid-foot housing that also acts as a stabilizer. Just 300 individually-numbered pairs were created and are available now on Reebok.com and on Finishline for $189.50. Get a detailed look here and let us know what you think about this latest development in the world of sneakers.
