Before there was Yeezy madness (you can read all about the upcoming trio of adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorways here) adidas Originals had solidified itself as a brand on a mission thanks to smart retro influences bambied with new technology in their adidas Tubular series. One of the most sought after models was the 1993 referencing Yeezy Slide Soot Brown complete with a unique overlay that paid tribute to the three stripes’ original Tubular running models from the early 90s.
Today we get a brand new colorway of the Yeezy Slide Soot Brown in a head-turning shade of Ice Mint. The light blue hue drapes the slip-on silhouette in a monochromatic fashion with a bolstered sports mesh providing ultimate breathability for a clean and comfortable ride. The Tubular’s standard EVA midsole isn’t Boost or Bounce, but will provide enough cushion for everyday use and then some. An updated suede heel panel dons the trefoil logo proudly.
