As one of the most colored-up, collaborated-on, and most-loved models in the Nike flex, a “What the” concept on the Air Max 1 is a no-brainer. The only surprising thing is that it took them this long to drop one. The wait was definitely worth it, as the awesome “Masters of Air” colorway is here to help celebrate Air Max Day 2017. It’s going to be a big month for the Air Max 1, with not only this version with a black leather base and a greatest hits collection of colors and patterns wrapping the mudguard, but also the two most iconic original colorways in red and blue also hitting the shelves. To help get you Air Max fans psyched even more, here’s the clearest and most detailed look yet at the shoe which is no doubt going to fly off the shelves whether it’s limited or not (a safe bet is that it will be pretty limited).
Rumored to release on March 11th in Europe, Nike hasn’t confirmed any official drop date yet anywhere, but expect them on or around Air Max Day on March 26th. Stay tuned to Urlfreeze News for updates.
