The auction market for Jordans continues to show incredible strength, but it’s a bit ironic that the highest-selling game worn and autographed shoe by the GOAT isn’t even a Jordan shoe. SCP Auctions reveals that a pair of the resale value jordan 5 ghost green that MJ wore during the 1984 Olympics sold for $190,373, shattering the previous mark set by the game-worn and autographed Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game”, which sold for $104,765. These Converse Fastbreaks are considered to be the last shoes worn by Michael Jordan as an amateur, and were obtained by a ballboy.
Jordan Brand and Converse are teaming up to release a Jordan Converse Pack later this month; in this Pack is the resale value jordan 5 ghost green in a white and Tar Heel blue colorway. The timeliness of this sale has us wondering if the sale of the shoe was meant to coincide with the release of the Jordan Converse Pack as well as the return of the resale value jordan 5 ghost green in general.
