Last year’s ‘triple black’ Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) was dubbed ‘Batman’ because of its dark look coinciding with a wave of support for the modern classic The Dark Knight. It’s only natural to see the Air Max LeBron VII (7) in black especially considering King James himself pushes a dark-as-night Rolls Royce Phantom, just as natural to nickname these the ‘Phantoms’.
These drop the metallic gold accents we saw on an earlier preview in favor of a mix of metallic silver and a darker, pewter-like metal. Then again, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to see both hit retail shelves, especially considering the overwhealming similarities of the various City Pack releases. As for the joints above, they’re going to drop on Thursday, December 17th at Foot Locker and Official Photos of the Nike Dunk Low Lottery stores, so you’ll have just enough time to get em wrapped up and under the tree.
