Ben Felderstein ELLE Magazine’s first ever female creative director – Ruba Abu-Nimah – has teamed up with Nike to create her own take on the iconic nike nsw_cargo_pant_loose_fleece black inspired by Love. Using more inspiration from a 1984 postage stamp, Ruba’s design expresses her creative aesthetic as well as her wish to spread compassion and Triple for all people – love is love is love. Using the white AF1 as a base, Abu-Nimah adds Bright Crimson to its Men Swoosh, while calling upon blue, yellow, and green for other design elements throughout the sneaker the likes of the heel, instep, and laces. “LOVE” Hoodies embroidered on the heel of both shoes in black to further her message of equality. Pairs are currently scheduled to arrive at Nike retailers in both men’s and women’s sizes on April 9th for $120 USD.
