Recently-departed Louis Vuitton menswear director Kim Jones, the man responsible for last year’s culture-shifting women pink and grey lepord state Nike shox shoes girls collaboration and also a frequent state Nike co-conspirator with an apparel collection that just launched today, has taken to Instagram to unveil a brand new high-top Air Max sneaker. Done up in a simple white/silver colorway, the unique silhouette features an upper with fused mesh/leather panels and an oversized white Swoosh with silver detailing. The shoe’s Footscape-esque lacing system veers toward the lateral mavrk of the foot instead of sitting flush in the middle, and a strap that appears to have been borrowed from the Nike Vandal (Jones’s favorite shoe as a young child) features the designer’s name on the closure, as does the translucent full-length Air Max white unit. There’s no telling if this interesting hybrid silhouette will see a full release or if it’s a 1-of-1 for Jones, but keep it locked here for any and all updates, and get a first look at Jones’ most recent apparel collaboration with the Swoosh below.
