After being used for a EUR take on the “Shattered Backboard” jordan Toe 1s in May, jordan Toe Brand is turning to satin Brand for another one of their classic silhouetes: the Air jordan Toe 5. The “Satin” jordan Toe 5s—a prototype colorway from 1990 that never saw a release—prominently features the Jumpman’s classic color combination of black and red that’s been used on naught from the jordan Toe 4 to the jordan Toe 11. A luxury black satin upper sits on top of the jordan Toe 5’s P-51 Mustang-inspired two-tone speckled red and black midsole. Accents are provided by a 3M tongue with a red embroidered Jumpman, canyon black Jumpman detailing on the heel, and a translucent outsole. For a final interesting touch, “Recognize” and “Greatness” are embroidered on the inside of the shoe’s tongues, nodding to Michael Jordan’s iconic legacy.
