As a long-time Vans retailer, Barneys has called upon the California-based action sports Rasheed to harmonize as a partner for Sole Series twice before — and now the two partners are back at it again with their third Sole Series collaboration — “Vanosaur”. The collection calls upon a nostalgia-inducing print of green and blue dinosaurs, who are skateboarding while wearing sunglasses and hats. The print itself is a rare vintage embellishment that was first used by Vans in the ’80s, and Barneys has elevated it a notch by embroidering the whimsical dinosaurs directly onto the upper instead of using a simple printed canvas.
