Michael Le Never settling for ordinary, VFILES has created one of the most dedicated followings backed by much of the NYC youth culture, and though they’ve slowed down a bit in terms of collaborations, the imprint is set to bring their vision back with the help of FILA‘s tennis staples, four of which are set to unveil alongside a vast assortment of cobranded apparel. The entire collection, which marks the first collaboration from the recently launched Greenhouse initiative, is jam-packed with vibrant colors, dipping the starring Tennis 88 silhouette in a vat of either yellow, blue, or pink with the fourth alternative bearing a more solid tooling akin to a tennis ball itself. Soles all the way up to the toecaps bear the glossy point entirely with slight visual bulk apparent thanks to the drips along the bottom. Top halves, however, stay unscathed in their white smooth leathers, a clean aesthetic matched by its two colorful siblings. Among bright green textures and DIY modifications, the clothing arrives with more emphasis on retro styles through modern lens as color blocked grey tops adorn with the VFILES namesake and tight fitting dresses add a heavy feminine component.
