Going straight for the gold medal, Nike’s Air Force 1 has often seen its fair share of metallic upgrades and yet few have struck the same luxe cord as its latest “Liquid Gold.” Accompanied by a turbo and silver, the newest take on high-end is one ripe with its titular hue — little else makes its way through save for neutral accents along the entire sole unit and lettering tucked away on the insole. For the most part, what you see is what you get here as the entire silhouette has been dipped for a glossy, glimmering finish when they light strikes at the right angle. Almost akin to patent leather though with a finish a bit more unique, the pair truly feels as if it was smelted straight from the ore itself. Swooshes even com, just as many of the overlaid panels, while the laces, nylon tongue, and lining dye their textile to a darker yet appropriate complement. Grab a good look at these right here and find them at Nike SNKRS down the road on December 13th. Some retailers have them listed for December 6th, so keep it locked for word on if they’re seeing to these just a bit early.
