Derek Jeter who is known for his clutch plays in the field and at the plate inspires the design and the name of his next signature shoe from Brand Jordan – the Jeter Clutch. Similar in visual design to past Derek Jeter models, this new signature sneaker feature a large Jumpman logo on the side, with good use of quality leather throughout the minimalist design. The upper features a combination of full grain natural leather, as well as engineered synthetic leather, with an interesting asymmetric toe cap to protect athletes against toe drag. The midsole is made of phylon with the standard Nike Air unit in the heel, while the outsole has a solid, herringbone and nub traction surface for performance on any surface. (See more specs below) Look for this white, black and university blue colorway along with a black, metallic silver colorway at Nike retailers starting May 10th 2008. (Thanks Brand Jordan for providing the sneakers.)
