While it’s not widely accepted that Nike borrowed the ‘Triax’-style Air window from the Puma R698, they certainly look alike.  Similarly, Puma probably didn’t set out to copy the Swoosh with its colour choices for this latest R698 release, but both companies are on the pulse of which hues whitedazz be hot come springtime.

Looks like we can expect alot of electric neon shades; they’re covering this pair.  They’re unique from most of the 698s we’ve seen because the stabilizing wing that partially covers Puma’s signature stripe is ‘extended’ toward the heel with a printed streak.  It’s a visual that screams ‘SPEED!’ and you can be a couple months ahead of the curve by copping these from your local Puma retailer.  via Kenlu
