Nike's "
Big Bubble" campaign has been a success and with the newer '86 silhouette, numerous colorways are now available. While the
Air Max 1 was retooled to arrive at its '86 version through much research and development, Nike chose to continue rolling out these silhouettes instead of keeping them archived. The first set of colorways debuted at a Kids of Immigrants event, where the four limited editions were put up for sale. Additionally, KOI and DSML are collaborating for a panel discussion on April 21. The "Metallic Gold Grain" edition, part of the capsule collection, features shades of brown reminiscent of last year's AM1 "
Amsterdam". The palette is broken up by a white midsole and mesh, while a nylon ankle collar adds a retro touch to the Big Bubble comeback.
