Back in 2001, the Air Low jordan 11 Retro 22 retroed in multiple colorways with the ‘Black Cement’ and ‘True Blue’ being among them. The ‘True Blue’ III is unique in that of the Air Low jordan 11 Retro 22s it is the only one with elephant print around the lacing tabs however this wouldn’t have been the case had this sample released instead. The Air Low jordan 11 Retro 22 ‘True Blue’ sample is a 1:1 replica of the 2001 retro with one major difference, there is perforated leather instead of elephant print around the lacing tabs. The removal of the elephant print makes the ‘True Blue’ III like any other Air Low jordan 11 Retro 22 and while it is a key difference, the colorway would have done well regardless as the Air Low jordan 11 Retro 22 is a very popular model.
