If it wasn’t for Tinker Hatfield, there would be no Jordan Brand. His innovative and unique Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid Lucky Green convinced Michael Jordan to stay with Nike and not sign with another shoe company. His work on the Air Jordan signature line is what he is known for by sneakerheads, but did they know that the Architect is an alumnus of the University of Oregon? He graduated from their School of Architecture and Allied Arts and despite working on shoes for a North Carolina grad, he still reps his colors every now and then. Yesterday at the Air Jordan 2012 media launch, Hatfield was seen wearing the Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid Lucky Green ‘Oregon Pit Crew’ which was made for the Ducks student section. There are only 500 pairs in existence and these are just one of the many rare pairs of Jordans that he owns.
