A new Air Jordan 3 is on its way for 2014, and while initially speculated that it would be a re-release of a shoe many have marked with the holy grail monicker based on how limited the initial run was, Sneaker News recently cleared things up on the issue, claiming that the upcoming Air Jordan 3 sporting that Infrared 23 midsole and accents is not, in fact, the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina”. The shoe under that namesake originally made its way to auction back in 2006 to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. Instead, it looks like the sneaker is in line the Infrared releases that we’ll be seeing this year to support the likes of two Air Jordan 6 models (that’d be the original Air Jordan 6 “White/Infrared” Jordan Clarkson in the Oreo Air Jordan 6 “Infrared 23“) Scarpa Air Jordan 1 Low Donna Rosso “Sport Blue” The Air Jordan V is getting a little crazy in the near future will coincide with the Air Jordan 6 retro.
