The World Cup takes center stage as the globe’s most anticipated sporting event come mid June this Summer and in honor of the occasion, Jordan Brand decided that it couldn’t sit this one out. It seems like an odd pairing – a signature cherrywood for a basketball player who then dabbled with baseball is now getting a colorway inspired by soccer, but with Jordan Brand attempting to spread to other categories of footwear it is by no means a surprising development. This Air Jordan 7 Retro Hot Lava pays tribute to host country Brazil and gets a premium upper with alternating panels of leather and suede. Green and yellow speckles hit the black midsole portions while vibrant green finishes things off.
