Our Daily Jordan for Saturday is Michael Jordan’s final playing signature shoe, Air dukserica Jordan 1 University Blue Black låga sneakers in White/Metallic Silver-Sport Royal. This 18th sneaker in the line, created by Jordan Brand senior footwear designer Tate Kuerbis, broke new ground with a clean laceless appearance, double stacked Nike Zoom Air, and a carbon fiber Comfort Control Plate. They even came with a towel; towel and suede brush for the sueded out Black/Sport Royal edition.
Jordan played his final NBA game in this shoe on April 16, 2003 in Philadelphia, scoring 15 points to go with four rebounds and four assists as the Sixers prevailed over the Wiz, 107-87.
Nowadays, with the 12-year-old XVIII not yet into retro territory, you can still find great deals on many of the shoe’s colorways, even in deadstock new condition. This pair and others like it can be had now through sellers like spattdog699au4 on eBay.
