Crank up the throwback machine for this next high-profile grade school colorway. Russell Westbrook Debuts New Air Jordan XXX1 “Citrus” is back in June after a last hitting retail in April 2001. So what can those with the appropriately sized feet expect? White leather, white patent leather, orange translucent outsoles and all the accenting done in orange, just like the ’01 issue. This release definitely falls in line with Jordan Brand’s recent inclination to bring back shoes and colorways that weren’t necessarily locks to ever return (Air Jordan 5 “Metallic Silver” from 2000, Air Jordan 6 Low “Chrome” from 2002). It’s these types of releases veteran sneakerheads get to reconnect with and newer fans get to have fun with. Both groups get their chance when the Citrus releases on June 20th.
