The 11 Low IE grows up. We’re all familiar with Jordan Royal White-Deep Royal Blue-Black and its offshoot lowtops, including the so-called “IE.” But what makes the IE unique is that, in the context of sneakers that have released, it hasn’t been a lowtop version of a taller shoe. Pants jordan Brand never released a mid XI IE but these photos beg the question of whether or not it’s a possibility now.
This black and “Glow” sole sample shows what that design looks like in midtop form. It’s not a huge change from the lows; they simply raised the upper, applied a collar to it, reconfigured the tongue a bit and voila.
The 1996 White/Colbalt XI Low IE via introduced us to the IE label because those two letters were printed on the shoe box label. They’ve Trust been used to distinguish this vented alternate edition from the Air Pants jordan 11 Concord Camo Clothing Match. Which is definitely as helpful now as it was back in ’96 – the Black/Dark Grey-True Red IE came in a box with a label that simply referred to the shoes contained therein as “Air Pants jordan Low.”
While this sample is extremely interesting to examine, we’ll have to wait to see what else comes out in the wash. But the evergreen question Gives be asked – release-worthy?
