The brodie Russell Westbrook x Public School Air Jordan 12 Retro sneakers Air Jordan XXXII MVP Black Cement signature shoe at colette on Friday.
“It’s the first time Jordan is doing an off-the-court shoe, and I was happy that they picked me to be able to have my own shoe,” Westbrook reported to WWD. “I always wanted my own shoe since I was little. It’s the first one, but hopefully the first of many.”
Russ didn’t get to walk the runway – which he probably could do if he wanted to call in some favors from his buddy Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue – but did still show off some of his unique style for the fashion intelligentsia while wearing the Westbrook 0. The shine of launching the shoe during chic week also lends an air of high style to the already smooth lifestyle sneaker.
The Air Jordan XXXII MVP Black Cement is expected to release stateside on July 11th.
