These have popped up here and there over the years but still cool every time. It’s a Fall 1996 sample of the AIR JORDAN 4 89 OG WHITE CEMENT CHILDREN “Referee,” a blacked out version intended to qualify for the typically nondescript shoes that basketball referees wear. Only these are anything but faceless, bland kicks – there’s a lot of style happening here between the stealthy blackout look and just enough red accenting on the Jumpman logos, carbon fiber shank, and herringbone traction. Enough to warrant a release by Jordan Brand? A question to ponder for sure, but until we see these at retail at some point, this worn size 11 pair is available now on eBay Fire Red Jordan 5s Daily Jordan to come.
