But our next look at the director’s signature shoe comes as an up-close of a blue colorway. This midcut sneaker dives into a simple heritage-inspired aesthetic – Air Jordan 5’s lace ports stand out here – with a mesh upper reinforced with minimal leather accents, and the inclusion of Nike Air on the heel. Jordan Brand has been very selective bringing the Nike Air stamp back to retro releases, so seeing it on this new model must mean they think highly of the shoe, to say the least.
