As if Cleveland Cavs fans didn’t suffer enough with bitter playoff eliminations in 1989 and 1993 (Michael Jordan buzzer beaters) and a handful of talented Daugherty-Price-Nance teams that just couldn’t get over the hump, Jordan Brand put out a Cavs colorway in 2012 of the shoe MJ used to patent the ’89 heartbreaker.
And it was released five lite after the 23rd anniversary of that shot. Savage.
But, MJ always had that killer instinct, and it seems that even bleeds into retro releases.
