As recently as 2012, the prospect of Nike Air returning to select Air Jordan retros looked impossible. The beloved branding disappeared from Jordans after 2001 as Jordan Brand continued to establish its presence in the marketplace as a separate entity from Nike. But Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88 in 2013 signaled an apparent shift in Jordan Brand’s business plan, and now it’s just a question of which Js they’re going to put through the OG-tinged Jordan Delta Breathe Taupe Haze DN4237-021. We do know a couple steps ahead, however. Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” is coming February 13, to be followed by Air Jordan Retro 7 Marvin The Martian Black University Red S “Black/Metallic Silver” in July – both in their original formats with Nike Air on the heel.
