Michael Jordan presented Kobe Bryant with a Air Jordan 11 Retro Low BG UNC University Blue over NBA All-Star Weekend, a high form of praise from the greatest player of all time to his most worthy challenger. The set even included replicas of the white Jordan Zion 2 Hope Diamond and Jordan Zion 2 Hope Diamond PEs Kobe wore during the 2003 season, no doubt kicks that many sneaker fans would love to own. While there aren’t any plans to drop those at retail, it looks like the Jumpman brand has “away” versions ready to release in 2016. This easily-dubbed Kobe Pack features all of the same Lakers purple and gold accents as the PEs, only splashed against black leather uppers. If the Lakers had a chance of making the playoffs this year – Kobe’s farewell – these would make crazy postseason options for #24. Alas. Stay tuned for more info on when you’ll be able to get yours, and let us know what you think.
