April 16, 2003 marked the final game of Michael Jordan‘s career – 6,746 days from his NBA debut in 1984.
Jordan ended his illustrious career with 15 points, four rebounds, four assists in 28 minutes, a quiet sign-off as the home Sixers cruised to a 107-87 win.
It was also the final game of the season for the MJ’s Wizards, a team of young and frankly no-so-great talent that finished with a 37-45 record for the second straight run.
Not even MJ could drag the team into the playoffs either campaign, depriving fans of the chance to see what he could do on his favorite stage.

Chicago, of course, snagged him at number three, setting up the most historic sports career in history.
