Michael Jordan’s March 1995 return only allowed him 17 regular season games to round into shape for the playoffs. Fortunately, those games also allowed Jordan one last run in Boston Garden, the site of his legendary playoff career high 63 points in 1986. The March 22, 1995 matchup didn’t quite reach that otherworldly level, but did turn out to be one of his better performances in the rust-shedding process – 27 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in just 26 minutes. Bulls got the 124-107 win. A nice momentum builder for MJ, too. Six days later, he unleashed the “Double Nickel” game.
